Ever wondered what it would be like to camp out in a field that feels like a pristine golf course set in what feels like a National Park?. You'll be amazed at not only the high-end nature of your surroundings, but also at the diversity of your surroundings: picturesque mountains, clear blue creek water, waterfalls & cascades, as well as fantastic wildlife & views of the Beaver Preserve. This site is REALLY in the middle of it all. Every site on the Property has its unique qualities, & a certain theme in its surroundings, but the location for Sweet Springs really is in a league of its own. Come stay here & you'll see why. This site is located below the Falls, next to the Creek, and is situated next to a gorgeous, gigantic Osage Orange tree, under which you'll find the picnic table, & plenty of shade. Site Guidelines
This site requires a 4x4 or AWD vehicle to drive up directly to the site. If you do not have one, we're more than happy to escort you down & your stuff via golf cart at check-in & checkout--just ask! Please do not climb any of the Travertine-Marl rock formations around the Falls or in the basins around them; due to the lack of stone around the Falls, the mineral rock--under constant adaptation & change as with the water--it can be very brittle, unstable, & dangerous. Abide by the swimming rules as posted. We ask that you also do not damage any plants, carve your name into any trees, or carry any animals out with you! Bring good shoes for treading water: you'll want to LIVE in the creek! But, be careful, the mineral rocks are slippery and watch for the waterfall and creek ledge! No fires outside designated areas, & no foraging.
